LALISA
You know just from looking at my back
When it gets dark, the light shines pink
When the bright light wakes me up
I shake up the World
I empty my head completely
and burn the loud emotions
Burn burn burn
I’m the champagne that’ll quench your thirst in that moment
Sip sip drink me up
Yes lift up my body higher
Want you to ring the alarm
Tell it to the world, kiss my name
Say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
Say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
Baby get the megaphone
Put it on speaker
I said I can’t hear you
So you need to speak up
Put that shiz on stereo
Everyone else on very low
Protect it like a barrier
Promise there’s nothing scarier
Than me if anybody coming gunnin for my man
Gonna catch a case
Gun up in my hand
Bam bam bam
Hit after hit though
Rocks in my wrist so I call em the flintstones
Ring the alarm
Tell it to the world, kiss my name
Say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
Just say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
I’m incomparable, you gon’ still love me nonetheless
You need some L.A.L.I.S.A
Remember my name that’s standing right in front of you
Love you some L.A.L.I.S.A
You cannot see me even though I show you all my ways
From Thailand to Korea, and now here, went for the throat
Being the greatest of all time ain’t fantasy
Jet black and pink crown belongs to we
Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa I’m confident standing above the sky
Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa they want me
Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa catch me if you can
Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa Lalisa
Say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
Just say Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
Call me Lalisa love me Lalisa love me
You know the attitude
What more do you want
The loudest in the room
About Lisa
Lalisa Manobal, also known as Lisa, was born Pranpriya Manobal, on March 27, 1997, in Thailand. Blackpink, formed by YG Entertainment has her as a member.
In September 2021, Lisa released her debut solo album, Lalisa. This is the first time a female artist has sold more than 736,000 copies of an album in South Korea in its debut week. In the first 24 hours following its release, the music video for its lead single reached 73.6 million views on YouTube, becoming the most viewed music video by a solo artist on the platform. Lisa was the first K-pop soloist to ever win an MTV Video Music Award and two Guinness World Records for the song.
A fortune teller advised her to change her name to Lalisa, meaning one who is praised, following the birth of Pranpriya Manoban on March 27, 1997 in Buriram Province, Thailand. Her mother was Thai and her stepfather Swiss, and she was raised as an only child by them. She is the daughter of Chitthip Brüschweiler. An accomplished chef, Marco Brüschweiler is her stepfather. The second and third grades of Praphamontree School were completed by Lisa.
She joined the eleven-member dance crew We Zaa Cool along with BamBam of Got7 after starting dance classes at the age of four. The group won the “Special Team” award at the LG Entertainment Million Dream Sanan World broadcast on Channel 9. A runner-up finish was also achieved by Lisa in a singing contest hosted by the Moral Promotion Center in early 2009 as a school representative.
YG Entertainment invited Lisa, then 13, to audition in Thailand in 2010. Having grown up admiring K-pop idols like Big Bang and 2NE1, Lisa wished to someday follow in their footsteps. She was the only applicant to qualify among the 4,000 applicants, which led Yang Hyun-suk to offer her a position as a YG Entertainment trainee. The one judge who praised Lisa afterwards was Danny Im of 1TYM, who praised her on-stage confidence as well as her attitude off-stage.
During Lisa’s five-year training as a trainee in South Korea, she moved to South Korea in 2011. April 11, 2011 marked her first day as the label’s first non-Korean trainee. Along with members of iKon and Winner, she performed as a background dancer in Taeyang’s music video for Ringa Linga in November 2013. Lisa had her first modeling job in March 2015 with street-wear brand Nona9on, followed in 2016 by South Korean cosmetics brand Moonshot.
