About Srinisha Jayaseelan
The name Srinisha was given to her by her parents, Mr. Selvaraj Jayaseelan and Mrs. Sujatha Jayaseelan, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was at TST Rajah Girls Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai that she did the bulk of her schooling, and later at Ethiraj College for Women she completed her bachelor’s degree in commerce.
The Indian playback singer Srinisha Jayaseelan was born on 26 September 1999 and is currently living in the United States. In the year 2009, she participated as a contestant in the reality show Super Singer Junior S2 which was telecast on Vijay Television as part of a reality show. It was in the year 2016 that she made her debut as a playback singer in the movie Amma Kanakku, which was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. In the reintroduction of Srinisha to the audience after her participation in the reality show Super Singer Champion of Champions, which gave her a lot of popularity, she was once again introduced to the audience.
About Stephen Zechariah
Singaporean actor and composer Stephen Zechariah (born 27 December 1988). The song Saaral Mazhaiyaa was his first composition. In addition to Usuraiya Tholaichaen, Sagiyae, and Vilagathey, he composed the first Indian indie musical trilogy.
The Singaporean-Malaysian film Joe: The Black Assassin marked Stephen Zechariah’s big screen debut as an actor. He also served as the film’s composer. ‘Saaral Mazhaiyaa’ was his first composition.
Among his compositions are Usuraiya Tholaichaen, Sagiyae, and Vilagathey, three Indian indie musicals.
In Pradhana Vizha 2021, he was named Best Actor in a Negative Role for his role in the mystery thriller Avathaaram (2019).
Also starring in T.Suriavelan’s Naam S1 (2020) and Jaya Rathakrishnan’s Parambarai (2021), Stephen Zechariah played leading roles in both films. The character he plays in Naam is Aryan, who is also a musician. Krishnayya, the character Krishnayya in Parambarai, represents the identity and spirit of the Tamil people in Singapore during the Second World War.
His collaborations with Tamil artists include “Theruvoram”, a collaboration with Sri Lankan Tamil rapper MC SAI, “One Love One Life”, a collaboration with Chennai-based singer Priyanka NK, “Alli Pookal” with Sunitha Sarathy, “Unna Nenachen” and “Adi Penne” featuring Srinisha Jayaseelan, and “Nesamaguren” with Saindhavi Prakash.
Over 80 million views have been recorded on YouTube for his song Adi Penne.
